In addition to decoration, the bead necklace had an important protective, magical role. It is known that beads were put around a little girl&#8217;s neck as soon as her first tooth came in, and she then wore them day and night from the cradle to the grave.\u00a0<\/p><p>As the girl matured into a woman, mother and grandmother, the necklace was gradually added to with beads that represented important events, eventually forming the woman&#8217;s so-called path of life. Whether it is a key ring, a small accessory or some other leather item \u2013 leather master Heini Soobik will help you make it happen.<\/p><p>Heini is a musician and craft master from P\u00e4rnu County whose passion for leather art began as early as the 1980s. At that time it was impossible to find exactly the kind of accessories he wanted, so he learned to make them himself. This need grew into a lifelong interest in leatherwork, which he has shared over the years in many workshops and courses.<\/p><p>No previous skills are needed. His work has been recognised in Estonia and further afield.
